History

The Data State Inspectorate was established on January 2, 2001 and operates in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, and based on Cabinet Regulation No. 1415 of 10 December 2013 “Regulations on the Data State Inspectorate “.

The Data State Inspectorate is a state administrative institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice, which supervises personal data protection.

The Data State Inspectorate implements the objective set out in the Personal Data Protection Law – to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons, in particular the privacy of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data of individuals.
