Project H2020-DS-08-2017 SMOOTH No.786741

Project No. H2020-DS-2016-2017 (Digital Security Foca area) of the European Commission Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020” (Horizon 2020) was launched on 1 May 2018. 786741 “Cloud Platform for micro-enterprise for compliance with the General data Protection Regulation (GDPR)” (GDPR Compliance Cloud Platform for micro enterprises) to facilitate compliance with GDPR rules by European micro-enterprises.

The project has two complementary objectives:

  • In order to raise awareness and promote compliance with GDPR rules, the project envisages the creation of an interactive manual (Internet site and mobile application) specifically for micro-enterprises.
  • In order to help micro-enterprises adopt and comply with GDPR rules, the project envisages setting up a cloud platform and deploying the tools developed within the framework of the project where, based on the data provided by the micro-entrepreneur, a specific GDPR compliance report for this type of enterprise will automatically be generated.

The Data State Inspectorate, as one of the project partners, together with a leading partner at the Catalonia Technology Centre FUNDACIO EURECAT (www.eurecat.org, Spain) and project partners: Spain's national personal data Protection Surveillance Authority (Agencia Española de Protección de data, www.agpd.es), Leuven Catholic University (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, www.kuleuven.be), Karloss III University of Madrid (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, www.uc3m.es), representatives of micro-enterprises - European Alliance of small Business Alliance of small Mall. Independent enterprises, (ESBA) Belgium, www.esba-europe.org) and Funding box Accelerator (Fundingbox Accelerator SP ZOO, Poland, www.fundingbox.com), companies - Naver Lab Europe (Naver France, France, www.naverlabs.com) and Nece (Nece Europe LTD, Britain, uk.nec.com), Spanish Standardisation Organisation (Asociacion Espanola de Normalizacion, Spain, http://www.en.aenor.es/aenor/inicio/home/home.asp), High level networks Research Institute (Fundacion Imdea networks, Spain, www.imdea.org) and marketing and sustainability partners Lstech LTD (United Kingdom, http://www.lstech.io/) is participating in the implementation of this project.

The total cost of the project is EUR 3 367 837.50, including the financing provided for the data State Inspectorate in the amount of EUR 61 875, which is covered by European Union funds. . In addition to the Data State Inspectorate of the data State Inspectorate, financing from the State budget resources in the amount of EUR 2 599 is planned within the scope of the project.

The duration of the project is set at 30 months from the date of entry into force of the grant Agreement on 1 May 2018.
